complex start condition based on status handler of step in predecessor chain

Hello !

Again I need your lights and suggestions about a “complex” construction.

here a short description and in attachment a schema :

I have a special configuration to set between 4 chains.

Chain A  =

  • 4 steps
  • Each process in step has a “raise event” on error
  • Each step has a status handler : on error = continue

Meaning that the chain A will always get status “completed" even if one of steps ended with error

Chain B =

  • Precondition = on Sunday
  • Always start after A without dependencies with step status of chain A
  • 2 steps
  • Each step has a status handler : on error = continue

Meaning that chain B will always get status “completed” even if one of steps ended with error

Chain A + Chain B = Chain C

Chain D =

  • 2 steps (without special parameters)
  • Start condition should be
    • Only start if all previous steps (in Chaine C) have been successfully processed , meaning each step of chaine A et B ended without error
    • When an error occurred in previous step (chaine C, so one step of Chain A and/or B ended with other status than completed) mail should be sent

Thanks for your help.

I wish you right now, and your family, a warm and Merry Christmas and a very healthy and Happy New Year !

Kind regards,

Delphine
